How do I book a driving lesson?
Simply download the MrDriver app, create an account, browse available instructors in your area, and book a lesson at your preferred time. You'll receive instant confirmation and can communicate with your instructor directly through the app.
Are all instructors certified?
Yes, all instructors on our platform are certified professionals who have undergone thorough background checks and verification of their teaching credentials. We take safety seriously and only work with licensed, qualified instructors.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely through the app using Stripe. You can pay for individual lessons or purchase lesson packages at discounted rates. All transactions are safe, secure, and transparent with no hidden fees.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes, lessons can be rescheduled through the app up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. Simply open your booking details and select a new time that works for both you and your instructor.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson through the app. If canceled more than 24 hours in advance, you'll receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on your instructor's policy.
Can I choose my instructor?
Absolutely! You can browse instructor profiles, read reviews from other students, check their availability, and choose the instructor that best fits your needs and preferences.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Students must meet Ontario's requirements for learning to drive, which typically means having a valid G1 learner's permit. Check with your chosen instructor for specific requirements.
How do I track my progress?
The MrDriver app includes progress tracking features where you can see your lesson history, instructor feedback, and improvements over time. This helps you stay motivated and prepared for your driving test.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, either visit the profile page in the app or email our support team at support@mrdriver.ca with your request. We will process your account deletion and remove your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.
Is MrDriver only for male instructors?
Absolutely not! MrDriver is built for all licensed driving instructors—regardless of gender. The name is just a brand, not a limitation. We welcome and celebrate diversity among our instructor community.
Instructor Questions
How do I become an instructor on MrDriver?
Download the MrDriver Instructor app, complete the application process, and submit your teaching credentials and certifications. Our team will verify your information and approve your account, typically within 2-3 business days.
What are the requirements to join?
You must have a valid Ontario driving instructor license, pass a background check, have proper vehicle insurance, and access to a teaching vehicle. You'll also need a smartphone to run the instructor app.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and deposited directly to your bank account. You'll receive payment promptly after each completed lesson, minus a small platform fee.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes! As an independent instructor on our platform, you have the flexibility to set your own lesson prices based on your experience, location, and market demand.
How does the $75 bonus work?
New instructors who complete 15 lessons within their first month on the platform receive a $75 bonus as a welcome incentive. This bonus is automatically credited to your account.
Can I work with other driving schools too?
Yes! MrDriver is a platform that connects you with students. You're free to work with other schools or platforms simultaneously. We believe in giving instructors maximum flexibility.
